Beyond Survival: Strategies for African American Male Success
Panel discussion will explore strategies to increase the life chances of African American males. The recent verdict in the Trayvon Martin Case has elevated national discussions on the health, safety and vitality of young African American males.

The Pavilion will consist of approximately 40 – 60 authors. Each author will appear in the Pavilion for approximately 2 hour session.
The session will include an introduction of the author/book including a meet/greet/book signing.
Howard University Bookstore will be responsible for purchasing/selling the books. Author participation will be promoted through various media outlets as well as social network/media marketing via The Renaissance Group, Hurston Wright Foundation, Say It Loud Foundation and Howard University Bookstore.
